Continuous 0–10 V DC or 4–20 mA output proportional to target distance, for gap, runout and thickness control.
Analog proximity sensors output a continuously variable signal proportional to target distance, rather than a simple on/off state. That turns a sensor into a measuring instrument — you can monitor a gap, check runout on a rotating shaft, verify thickness, or close a control loop around actual position.
Available with 0–10 V DC or 4–20 mA output across a linear 8–15 mm working window.

The 4–20 mA analog proximity sensor gives the same continuous distance measurement as the voltage version, but transmits it as a current loop — the standard that…
Every product in this category can be adjusted to your application. Specify any of the following at enquiry and we will quote against it:
Choose 0–10 V for short runs inside one machine or panel. Choose 4–20 mA for long cable runs, electrically noisy environments with drives and motors nearby, or where you need to detect a broken cable — 0 mA is unambiguously a fault, whereas 0 V is a valid reading.
The output is linear across an 8–15 mm window. Outside that band the output saturates, so design the mechanics to keep the target inside it with margin at both ends.
Repeatability is 5–10% of the sensing distance, giving a practical resolution of a few tenths of a millimetre. For micron-level measurement this is the wrong technology and we will say so.
Send us your application — target material, sensing distance, supply voltage and housing constraint. We will recommend a part, quote it, and ship from Mumbai.
